This film has tried to portray the 12 year long armed struggle, the wars that they fought, the trouble they went through etc. Produced by Actor Naval Khadka for Golden Eye, ‘Aawaj’ has been directed by Badri Adhikari which includes Naval Khadka, Ranju Lamichane Srijana Subba, Prem Subba as the leading characters. Also included are Maoist commanders from Rolpa, Kulman Buda, Rashmila, Shankar and thousands of Maoist from the Chula Chuli camp. “Though no financial contributions were made by the Maoists, they were involved in taking care of most of the logistics and acted as a ‘guide’ during the shoot” |
